We always strive to deliver inspiring and meaningful content to our community through events, The Summit, Coffee and Case Studies, job boards and more. In addition to bringing people together to learn more about what is, can be and should be the future of marketing - we’re leading practitioners ourselves. We’re constantly evolving our brand, we use marketing to grow and retain our membership base, we create our own original digital content and we experiment with various tactics and technologies to gain first-hand knowledge about what the world of marketing is like today.


This seat is critical to the future success and growth of MIMA. We need people to easily understand what we do and how we can help them. We need fresh thinking and ideas about how we can improve the overall MIMA experience. We need a leader who can integrate marketing activities among the board, committees and volunteers to make for a better membership experience.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Creating and evolving MIMA’s brand positioning, tone and voice and messaging
  • Collaborating with each of the different board seats and committees
  • Defining marketing strategies and building / executing an integrated marketing plan
  • Leading the creation of marketing materials, including writing, design and development
  • Measuring the impact of our marketing activities among the various committees
  • Managing the marketing budget for the entire organization
  • Leading the marketing committee team and is volunteers
  • Representing the marketing committee at all board meetings
