Letter of Intent for Board of Directors Role

  • Please describe your past experiences with MIMA and your interest in the board.
  • How do you feel about the Minnesota interactive marketing community? For instance, where does the community excel? Do you see untapped opportunities?
  • Please describe your experiences with any other boards or associations. What are some of the notable achievements of the board during your tenure?
  • Being a MIMA board member is a volunteer position, although it does require a time commitment of 8-10 hours per month (preparing for and attending board meetings, attending monthly events and managing committee activities). Can you commit to this time investment?
  • Our board is currently divided into programming and content, brand and marketing, business development and operations . Based on your experience, please identify the two groups you feel you could best contribute and tell us why.
  • Please list any and all questions you have about being a board member. (We'll do our best to reply to these before scheduling any possible interview.)
  • Finally, tell us why you're great. What do you feel that you would contribute to a board position? What kind of working relationship would your fellow board members come to expect from you?
  • By signing here, I understand that this is an application, and the responses are true to the best of my knowledge. I understand that there is no assurance of any position, and this is not a contract.
