The basics of project management are pretty clear: creating timelines, managing budgets, communicating with clients and colleagues. But, what’s next? What does excellence in project management really look like?

At this MIMA Meetup for project managers looking to take their skills to the next level, Meghan McInerny — co-author of Interactive Project Management: Pixels, People, and Process — will dig into the tough stuff with you. How can you improve how you communicate and collaborate? How can you talk about the hard stuff effectively with your clients? How do you manage difficult team members or multiple stakeholders? What do clients mean when they ask for agile?

We’ll talk about all this and more, with a brief presentation followed by a moderated discussion. Bring your toughest challenges, and let’s get real.

As a refresher, MIMA Meetups are designed to better connect our members around specific topics relevant to the interactive marketing world. They are for MIMA members only and limited to 30 attendees, so sign up early.
