It is a well-known concept that the most successful teams are the ones who are very diverse. But tapping into that potential requires a very intentional process. As a matter of fact, diverse teams require more work, which includes creating an environment that is safe from biases and assumptions.

On April 3, join MIMA and speakers from The BrandLab for a unique workshop that will provide insights, learnings and tools to help create bias-free professional environments.

Facilitators will guide a Fearless Conversation about the power of words. We will start by understanding ourselves and one another’s identities and experiences through 3 Fearless Questions to grow our understanding of ourselves and our world. Rooted in empathy and curiosity, we will then start to uncover the impact of words on our relationships. Together, we will grow our empathy by uncovering the difference between intent vs. impact of our words. We will explore unconscious bias, how they show up in the workplace, and how they impact marginalized communities. Attendees will then practice addressing biases in the workplace and walk away with tools to help create an inclusive and safe culture in the workplace.
